Acceleration & Schedule Redundancy vs Construction Methodology Rev 3.2 (21 May 2026)

This tracker is baselined on the Weekly Progress Update contract milestones (commencement 19 May, Practical Completion 30 June). SRG's Construction Methodology Rev 3.2 demonstrates how early mobilisation and re-sequencing build float and redundancy against those contract dates:

18 May
Mobilised early — methodology mobilises 18 May, ahead of the 19 May contract commencement, recovering a day before works begin.
T1 → T2
Sequenced stick build — T1 then T2 (not concurrent), ground team rolling between trains on a Mon–Fri pattern with weekend acceleration held in reserve.
+13d
Completion re-baselined — Company free-issue steel slipped (M4 8 Jul, M5 10 Jul), consuming float and moving works completion to 13 July (Rev 2.1); the delay/EOT is captured under EOT-002 (cl. 41.3). Train 1 is unaffected and tracking to baseline.
13 / 1
Fatigue-managed RA roster — rope access on a 13/1 roster, RDO aligned to each train's welding shift, sustaining the shutdown campaign without stand-down risk.

Where the methodology runs ahead of the contract baseline, the gap is deliberate redundancy. The contract milestones remain the reference baseline (PC 30 June); the working completion is re-baselined to 13 July (Rev 2.1) on the confirmed Company steel dates, with the delay captured under EOT-002. Current risks (Train 1 module rework, T2 steel-gated back end) are tracked against them.

Weather Record & Lifting Outlook Kwinana · recorded actuals + 7-day outlook · gusts vs indicative lift-limit guides (man-cage ~7 m/s · crane ~10 m/s)

Wind bands are indicative planning guides only. Safe working wind limits for any lift are confirmed by the approved lift studies and the crane operator on the day.

Key Assumptions Methodology Rev 3.2 §2.2
  • Free-issue materials arrive on-site during the week of 18 May 2026, with SRG mobilising in alignment with confirmed delivery
  • Concrete pile cap and foundation works complete, surveyed and signed off by Covalent prior to SRG mobilisation
  • Site access, inductions and Covalent entry requirements facilitated promptly to avoid programme delay
  • Covalent QA representative available for witness/sign-off at critical ITP hold points (tie-in flange, grouting, bolt torque, verticality)
  • Pre-assembled Modules 4 & 5 (offsite PAS) transported to site within the nominated crane radius per programme
  • Carnac Engineering flange design issued to SRG prior to commencement of tie-in access works
  • CASA aviation lighting at 97m noted non-mandatory per Addendum 3 — SRG coordinates if it becomes a requirement
  • Permit-to-Work, isolation and SIMOPS interfaces managed per Covalent procedures; SIMOPS facilitation timely
Constraints & Programme Risks Methodology Rev 3.2 §2.3
  • Programme runs Mon 18 May – Fri 3 Jul 2026 — 47 calendar days end-to-end, ~36 working days of execution
  • Stick build is sequenced T1 then T2 (not concurrent), Mon–Fri across 25 May – 11 Jun; weekend acceleration held in reserve
  • Shutdown rope-access works run sequentially T1 then T2 from 1 Jun – 2 Jul on a single rope-access crew
  • Any delay to free-issue material delivery has a direct programme impact and may trigger a formal variation notice
  • Rope access operations weather-dependent — wind above the safe working threshold (IRATA ICOP / SWMS) requires stand-down at height
  • Existing stack removal assumes top-rig from fabricator-supplied lifting lugs — SRG to confirm with Carnac Engineering prior
  • Assembly pad position is final per LPA lift studies (CCA-15-03/04, CCA-15-05/06); repositioning triggers a survey check and SIMOPS review
  • Crane & rigging contracted directly by Covalent to Crane Corp Australia; ground bearing & crane setup managed under their contract
